OK, it's been like, how long, a year? Who knows, all I am sure of is I can rarely log in successfully, if I can find the time.
Today, by the way, I do not have the time.
But I think I will do just a teeny teeny note anyway.
2009 started out with a BANG(ed head). Child #4 cracked a forehead open in the shower first thing in the morning, so that was an interesting start to our day. However, bring a deck of cards to the ER and all is well. NOT the sort of stitches I prefer.
Recent knitting activity:
* a Sweetheart mitten for dear Husband. It is awesome. Alpaca With a Twist, Highlander in burgundy.
* New Christmas Stocking for Child #3. (DH and #1 got them last year. I am getting there, slowly!). Cranberry and turquoise tweed. I know the color combo sounds weird, but it works, really. Plus, I knit what they ask! Started on the 19th, finished on the 24th. Name stitched on just as Santa was heading down the chimney.
* Hot Sox, the blue and gray combo. From the Tofutsies club. I did my usual pattern, as theirs wasn't doing it for me personally.
* Sublime hat and mittens to match. Need to embroider "Snow" one one mitten and "Flake" on the other. Or not. How much time do I have anyway?
There is more, but these are the projects of the past 2 weeks that are atop my brain right now!
OK, must stop knitting, must stop blogging, must do housework! (Oh, yeah, and jaywalkers in progress, I love them b/c they are so easy and cute!)
